Who We Are and How We Work

AUTHORLINK REVIEW is owned by Authorlink.com, the award-winning online news, information, and marketplace for editors, agents, booksellers, writers, and readers. The REVIEW provides an independent source of reviews for hardcover and trade paperback titles. We occasionally review print-on-demand titles from publishers with ten titles or more. Sorry, we rarely, if ever, review self-published books.

AUTHORLINK REVIEW targets booksellers, librarians, schools, and book lovers with in-depth online reviews. The publication does not charge publishers for reviews, but does restrict submissions for possible review to two per month from each publisher, and requires either online registration (free on the site), or mailed advance reader copies or galleys.

The REVIEW showcases a small number of books each month, focusing on major publishing houses, but also giving consideration to small to medium-sized independent presses. Hardcovers and trade paperbacks are acceptable formats. We occasionally review mass market titles as well.

The online AUTHORLINK REVIEW is free to booksellers, librarians, schools, and listed Authorlink writers upon registration. Others who want to subscribe can register for a small fee. See JOIN as a Mini Member.

The online AUTHORLINK REVIEW includes a searchable database, the "Top Ten Most Viewed" reviews, links to similar services, and paid advertising.

Order Review Copies

Booksellers and media representatives may order copies of reviewed titles by contacting the publisher direct. A link to the publisher's web site is usually provided as part of the review.
