Mind of Your Story

A great story has a way of seducing you, of pulling you in and taking you along for the ride, like it has a mind of it's own. Lisa Lenard Cook talks to Authorlink about how to reach beyond the basics of story creation to nourish one's obsessions and get inside his or her own story world. Her book, Mind of Your Story (F&W Publications, April 2008), is now available in bookstores everywhere and at amazon.com Lisa Lenard-Cook’s first novel Dissonance was short-listed for the PEN Southwest Book Award, and her second novel Coyote Morning short-listed for the New Mexico Press Women’s Zia Award. Lisa is on the faculty of the Santa Barbara Writers’ Conference and Vermont College’s Lifelong Learning Program. --Doris Booth |
