Baldacci's Simple Genius
| ||
|
David Baldacci's 13 bestselling novels of government power and intrigue have sold nearly 50 million copies in 40 languages worldwide. His first novel Absolute Power was adapted into a major motion picture starting Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman. In addition he has written seven original screenplays. This year, he will have not one, but three books released, including a reissue of the classic, WISH YOU WELL, and SIMPLE GENIUS in April, both under the Warner Books label, followed by STONE COLD in October, under the imprint's new name, Grand Central. SIMPLE GENIUS marks Baldacci's first-ever spring season debut with the triumphant return of his beloved protagonists Sean King and Michelle Maxwell featured in Split Second and Hour Game. King and Maxwell reunite once again to investigate a murder at a scientific think tank called Babbage Town, a secretive enclave housing some of the greatest scientific minds in the world. David is also a passionate supporter of family literacy in America. He is the co-founder with his wife of the Wish You Well Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy efforts across America. We recently caught up with David at BookExpo America to talk about his just-out thriller, SIMPLE GENIUS and of his concerns for the present world technology race. —Doris Booth ©Authorlink.com All Rights Reserved |
